Course Overview

Diploma in Ophthalmology is a one-year diploma certification course in which one will be skilled in Anatomy, Physiology and Diseases of the eye.

The minimum eligibility criteria include 10+2 Level certification from any recognised board.

Admission to this course is selective and is done by both merit and entrance tests. However, some institutions might take an interview before giving admission.

The most focused topics in the Ophthalmology diploma course are visual life structures, ocular anatomy, physiology, optics, hereditary qualities, genetics, pathology, practical ophthalmic science.

After this certification course, either candidate can start their career at Hospitals, clinics, at any public health facility as Sales Executive, Associate Professor, Super Specialty Consultant, OT Technician or they can continue with a master’s in the same domain.
