Course Overview
Diploma in Medical X-Ray Technology (DMXT) is a 2 years undergraduate course. The program teaches to operate X-Ray machines, position the patients properly, develop the X-Ray images, and report them to the concerned doctor. The X-Ray technician plays a crucial role in correctly diagnosing and treating diseases, conditions, and disorders inside the human body.
X-Ray Technology is electromagnetic radiation that penetrates the body and creates images of these structures on photographic film or a fluorescent screen which the doctor later uses to understand a concerned problem. The program covers both clinical and administrative skills.
After the course, completion students can join hospitals, clinics, laboratories, radiology equipment manufacturers, colleges and universities as X-Ray Technician, Imaging Technician, Sales Executive, Instructor, and Research Associate.
