A diploma in Medical Dialysis Technology (DMDT) is a 2-year skilled-based certification course that trains students to purify and filter the blood and excess or waste materials from the human kidney. It also enables students to perform critical dialysis including renal dialysis and hemodialysis.

The eligibility criteria for enrolling in the course are an aggregate score of 60% in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Biology. Admissions to Diploma in Dialysis Techniques colleges are done on both merit and entrance exam basis.
